It's been awhile because our admin section was down. Therefore we haven't been able to log in to write a blog.
Christmas is in 5 days but we have a big celebration on Christmas Eve so we only have 4 days to prepare. Christmas Eve is here at our house with Mark's Mom's side of the family. For lunch we are just going to have a taco bar and for dinner we are going to have ham and turkey sandwiches along with cheese soup. I cannot wait!!! Christmas Day is at Mark's Parent's house with his Dad's side of the family. I think we are having some sort of BBQ sandwiches but I don't think they know for sure yet if that is the case. It's different for me not to have ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, and other stuff like that for Christmas because that is what I grew up with. Thanksgiving we had turkey and all the fixins' and Christmas was ham with all the fixins'. All of the food will be wonderful, just different for me.
The day after Christmas we are going down to my Parent's house to celebrate with my mom and siblings. On the way, Mark and I are going to pick up a Monicals' pizza. I haven't had Monicals in forever. We are getting one close to us so shortly that will change. :-D
We are pretty much finished with our Christmas shopping. My family is completely checked off the list. We have one more thing to get Jeff and Mark's dad and I think we will be finished!
We booked our honeymoon flight to Alaska so now we can't change our minds. We wouldn't change our minds anyway because Mark's cousin, Brian, is getting married next summer also. We planned the honeymoon so that we could go to his wedding!
We are probably going to have a New Year's Eve party again. Everyone is invited so hopefully you don't already have plans. We would love to have you here and if you need to stay the night we can find a place for you!
